New ReviewerI have had pergo outlast in three homes. I like it very much and it holds up very well.
I have read some of the reviews and I can tell you any floor is ruined in a flood. my big complaint and I am still arguing with home depot is that they put a transition piece in the middle of my foyer. they said if the length if greater than 40 feet pergo requires it. I live in a neighborhood with over 400 homes.
of the people I know none of them has a transition piece on their floors, which may or may not be pergo. I am going to pay someone privately to pick it up and relay in the foyer . it also doesn't line up and the installers said the floor probably shifted, not house only 11 months old and it has no where to go. it would all shift not just one section of the flooring.
they are hemming an hawing so they don't have to fix the floors. I would stay away from home depot not pergo.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Pergo Pros: Look of the floor, Floor is great.
Pergo Cons: Transition piece policy.
